Russia’s Rosneft says not to cut ruble bonuses to top executives

MOSCOW, Mar 28 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Rosneft is still not raising wages to its central staff, but has grounds not to reduce ruble-denominated bonuses to top executives, the company’s press secretary Mikhail Leontyev told PRIME late on March 25.

“The company is increasing profit denominated in rubles. We have grounds at least not to reduce bonuses (to top executives) in rubles,” he said.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said earlier it was necessary to consider reducing bonuses to state companies’ top executives and tying them to the size of profit amid the current economic situation.
